I am Dawn M Huskey. I was born June 28th 1979. Growing up I had no idea what I wanted to do in life. At one point I wanted to be a teacher or a veterinarian. I never considered being a writer let allow an author. I was in learning support classes all my life. I didn’t think I could do this. But with determination and a little bit of fear I succeeded.

I was married to the love of my life Michael Jason Huskey May 10th, 2003. He is my biggest inspiration.  My other inspirations are my parents, my brothers, other family, and friends. I have four loving parent. Three brothers, three sister in laws, and seven nieces and nephews. I have cousins, aunts, and uncles. Friends that are like family to me.

After discovering I could do this my passion and will power grew. I love telling stories and if one of my stories makes a lasting connection or changes a heart then I have done my job well. Love is the strongest emotion. It can hold us together and help us fight.

I say to anyone who has a dream, follow those dreams. Don’t let fear get in your way. Don’t let learning disabilities, limitations, or lack of confidence get in your way. Because if I can achieve my dream. You can achieve yours.
